My mission is to work with singers to develop a unique and thorough understanding of their voice as an instrument (anatomy and physiology) and to inspire singers to become well-rounded musicians.  The singer should be able to understand music and communicate with other musicians in the same way that a well studied instrumentalist can. Study with me and develop skills in music reading, sight singing, aural/rhythm dictation, basic keyboard skills, harmonic analysis, knowledge of scales/modes, chart writing, composition, and improvisation skills. In addition to these skills we will work on the all important emotional side of music - connecting with the audience and the deeper meaning of the music and lyrics.
